Through the 2C Futsal Academy (2CFA) program your child will learn how to control the ball through skill building and techniques that are crucial to the game of futsal.
Futsal is a great developer of skills and confidence. It is a wildly popular game in countries such as Spain and Brazil and is becoming more and more popular in the USA due to its profound benefits to a developing youth futsal/soccer player.
“As a little boy in Argentina, I played futsal on the streets and for my club. It was tremendous fun, and it really helped me become who I am today,"
Keep the ball
At the 2C Futsal Academy (2CFA) we focus on attack/offense. We encourage players to engage in 1 versus 1 competition to try and beat opponents. We create safe, controlled environments for your child to be creative and free to explore and develop. Possession and retention of the ball is key. We feel that if your child can keep the ball, they will be more successful in all other aspects of the game.
“During my childhood in Portugal, all we played was futsal, the small playing area helped me improve my close control, and whenever I played futsal I felt free. If it wasn't for futsal, I wouldn't be the player I am today."
Freedom and Expression
At 2CFA we encourage creativity and freedom. We hope to fuel a player's passion and love of the game. At 2CFA we believe that the game should be fun!!! When a player is having fun, then they will grow rapidly in the game.
More Time on the ball
With futsal your player will get approximately six times the amount of touches on the ball as opposed to 11 v 11 outdoor soccer. More touches on the ball equals more opportunity to learn and become a better and more technical player.
